Student Self-Service

The Student-Self-Service (SSS) tab is the main way students access myNKU functionality related to their academic careers at NKU. Access to the SSS tab is automatically provided to all students.

The SSS tab comprises four sub-tabs, each of which contains a category of functions: My Info, My Records, Academics, and Additional Services.


The My Info sub-tab provides access to review student addresses on file, as well as links to forms and procedures to submit changes to addresses, names and social security numbers.

Change Address - Submit a change to your mailing address.

The My Records sub-tab provides access to a student's own academic records.

My Advisors - View a listing of advisors assigned to you for your degree program(s).

Holds - View a listing of any holds applied to your record; some holds prevent you from registering for courses until the conditions for removal are met.

Degree Requirement Catalog - View the catalog of record for your degree program(s).

Degree Audit - Determine how your course work has been applied to your degree program(s), or how it may apply to a program in which you are interested if you are newly admitted, non-degree, or considering a program change.

Transfer Credit - View credit that you have received for course work done at other institutions.

Grades - View your mid-term or final grades for a selected academic period.

Unofficial Transcript - View a PDF document showing your unofficial transcript of coursework.

Offical Transcript - Access a link to request an offical transcript of your coursework.

Enrollment Verification - Obtain proof of your enrollment through the National Student Clearinghouse to be provided to health insurers or other requesting companies.


The Academics sub-tab provides access to course registration information and resources, as well as the application for graduation.

Online Registration - Search and register for courses, save various options in your registration cart, and make changes to your registration as needed.

My Class Schedule - View a PDF document showing the courses for which you are registered in current and future terms.

Apply for Graduation - Complete and submit your application to graduate as you near the completion of your degree.

Book Orders - Connect to the on-campus bookstore and view the list of books for classes in which you're enrolled for the current semester.  Confirm your order and enter payment information to complete your purchase online.

Program Change/Declaration - Change your program of study (major, minor, area of concentration, certificate, or certification) by submitting an online request.

Parking Services - Link to the Parking Services website to view information on purchasing a parking permit, accessing your online parking account, and other policies, procedures, and forms related to parking your vehicle at NKU.

Blackboard - Link to Blackboard, NKU's online learning management system.

Option to Repeat a Course - Link to a PDF document which can be filled out and submitted to the Office of the Registrar if you wish to repeat a course.
